A Tea Lady’s Love Song is about a tea lady’s unspoken desire to love and to be loved. The overly expressive passages with dissonances and irregular accents portrait the conflict in her heart toward love – the love that is contained, yet restrained.

This piece was composed and premiered with the financial support from Taiwan National Culture and Arts Foundation.
