Program Notes

The idea of this piece came from an illustrated children book called Left or Right, which I received as a Christmas gift many years ago. The story depicts the uncertainty of a human’s life. Sometimes we have to make decisions at certain points along the path, some as simple as which note would be chosen for next beat (although this is certainly not a simple question!!) We would never know either Left or Right is better for us, but life still keeps going and going..........
